What goes into a Kitchen Remodel?
Every kitchen remodel is different, but most projects involve a combination of elements that work together to improve function and overall layout.
Understanding these components helps you make better decisions as you plan your remodel.
Our team works through each part of the project with you, so the final result is practical, well-built, and consistent from start to finish.
Layout & Workflow
A well-planned kitchen considers movement through the space, with appliances, prep areas, and storage placed where they’re most useful.
Cabinetry & Storage
Cabinet design impacts storage, organization, and durability, not just appearance.
Countertops & Surfaces
Materials are selected based on use, maintenance, and long-term performance.
Appliances & Utilities
Appliance size and placement must align with electrical, plumbing, and ventilation requirements.
Lighting
Lighting is planned for both work areas and overall visibility.
Flooring
Kitchen flooring should be durable, easy to maintain, and consistent with the rest of the home.
Structural Changes
Some projects include removing or adjusting walls to improve layout and open the space.
What to Expect during your kitchen remodel
Our kitchen remodel process is designed to keep decisions clear and construction organized. We begin with an in-home visit to understand your space, priorities, and constraints, then develop a layout and cabinetry plan aligned with your goals.
Selections are made in our showroom, plans and timelines are reviewed, and expectations are clear before construction begins. During the build we remain closely involved, coordinating trades and managing the schedule so the project moves forward without surprises.
Led by a family local family, RH Renoman was built on craftsmanship long before it was built on a name. Rimoun learned carpentry as a family trade in Syria and brought that knowledge with him when he immigrated to the United States at forty with his son Michael.
Today that tradition continues through every project we complete. Our work combines generations of craftsmanship with thoughtful design, producing kitchens that are both practical and carefully built.
Today, we offer full kitchen remodels, whole-home cabinetry and renovation as well as cosmetic remodeling.

Frequently asked questions
Find answers to common questions about kitchen remodeling, timelines, pricing, and our process.
Kitchen remodel costs vary primarily based on scope of work. Some projects are cosmetic updates that keep the existing layout and systems in place and can come in under $20,000. Full-scale kitchen remodels that involve layout changes, new cabinetry, upgraded materials, and trade coordination can be significantly more, depending on the scope of work.
The biggest cost drivers are layout changes, cabinetry type, material selections, and how much construction work is required behind the walls. Because every home and project is different, the best way to understand cost is to define scope first.
Timelines depend largely on scope of work. Smaller, cosmetic kitchen updates that don’t involve layout changes or major construction can sometimes be completed in as little as one week. More involved kitchen remodels typically take around 4 weeks, while full-scale renovations with structural changes, custom cabinetry, and multiple trades can extend longer.
During the planning phase, we establish a clear project schedule based on your scope, selections, and lead times so you know what to expect before construction begins.
